About

I started Veggie *What* Now? as part exploration and part creative venture. The name comes from the typical reaction to my diet at the time. As a vegetarian with food allergies and intolerances, the most common reaction I heard was: “You are a veggie…what now?”

After years working on the blog, it became more personal, as these things often do. Presently, it is more of a personal narrative blog rather than a recipe blog, though I still do post occasional recipes.

My experience comes from modifying omnivorous recipes for a vegetarian diet. But, you don’t have to be a vegetarian to enjoy vegetarian food. Meatless Mondays are a great example of this. Rather than re-inventing the wheel, I just modify and properly cite existing recipes to work around my allergies and preferences. The only thing I ask for is kindness. 1. I’m glad you stopped by my blog so I could find yours! My brother has deadly allergies to gluten and lactose, so I (Indirectely) know what it’s like to live with allergies 🙂
I look forward to reading more of your posts

  2. Thank you for stopping by my blog and liking the Risotto with Asparagus . . . I have corrected the recipe which obviously had some “translation” problems . . . ( I didn’t do the translation it this time) –
